Gus Kalaris
Constantine "Gus" Kalaris is the founder and the owner of
Constantine Wines, Inc., a sixteen year-old wine distribution and important
company that has enjoyed a great reputation for premium offerings.
Gus is responsible for all purchasing, sales and marketing. Under
his leadership, Constantine Wines has enjoy uninterrupted growth. Kalaris
also has over 20 years of extensive experience building wine lines that
compete in all ranges. Prior to starting Constantine, he held consulting
positions with Mar-Salle Imports and Washington Wholesalers. Gus
is very outgoing and is a seasoned professional. In addition to his
ownership responsibilities at Constantine, Kalaris also owns AXIOS, a Super
Premium Napa Valley wine brand. Gus, a Greek American, born in Washington,
DC in 1958 is fluent in the Greek language and dedicated to his heritage.
Kalaris is very active in the Greek Orthodox community. His proudest
achievement is his family. He, his wife, Lynne and their two children
reside in Maryland.
